Description

In this custom curtain pole section you can buy components to enable you to create your own pole - as you like it.

In addition to the finials, poles and brackets, you will find useful components such as recess brackets and ceiling brackets. Passing brackets, passing rings and corner joints are designed for bay fixings and other special solutions.

Having selected the finials of your choice, order the pole lengths you need, add rings (if required), your choice of brackets and any other components you may need.

How many and what type of brackets?

Three brackets are usually needed on poles 240cm and over making them suitable for use with all weights of curtains. 480cm and 600cm two piece poles require five brackets (three standard and two passing) as well as standard rings and passing rings to slide over the passing brackets.

How many and what type of rings?

When hanging curtains with heading tape you will need rings. We suggest 1 ring per 10cm of pole, so for a 120cm pole you will need 2 packs of 6 rings.

When using passing brackets please order standard rings and passing rings to suit. Standard rings can be used either side of the first bracket and up to the second bracket on each curtain, and passing rings will be needed after that.

Chris

If you like the finial and require a standard pole with or without rings you may find the pole set easier to order.

We never hesitate to recommend this range as the quality is superb and Lunar has all the components needed to resolve so many special curtain pole requirements.

Do take a look at the draw rods, which are a very useful accessory, designed to be used with rings. Just attach the draw rod to the last curtain ring and this enables you to pull the curtains open and closed without the need to touch the curtains. Also very useful for long curtains and bays which may otherwise be difficult to reach.

A perfect solution for bifold and patio doors

The Lunar 28mm range offers all the components to make easy work of covering longer lengths. If hanging eyelet curtains the maximum size is 600cm in matt nickel and chrome, but for curtains with heading tape even longer lengths can be covered using passing rings and passing brackets. This would be a custom pole if over 600cm.

For heavier curtains the Strand 35mm range by Jones Interiors has all the useful features of the Lunar range, so please take a look.

Unless specified otherwise the colour of the curtain pole or curtain track relates to the finish, not the materials composition.
Products from different manufacturers may not necessarily be compatible with each other.
The size of the curtain ring relates to the diameter of the curtain pole not the size of the ring. Contact us if you are unsure.
